چکیده
The kinetic spherical model with long-ranged interactions and an arbitrary initial order m0 quenched from a very high temperature to T (≤ Tc) is solved. In the short-time regime, the bulk order increases with a power law in both the critical and phase-ordering dynamics. To the latter dynamics, a power law for the relative order mr ∼ −t−k is found in the intermediate time-regime. The short-time scaling relations of small m0 are generalized to an arbitrary m0 and all the time larger than tmic. The characteristic functions φ(b,m0) for the scaling of m0 and ǫ(b, T ′) for T ′ = T/Tc are obtained. The crossover between scaling regimes is discussed in detail.

The theoretic renormalization-group appoach is applied to the study of short-time critical behavior of the Ginzburg-Landau model with long-range interactions psps−p. The system initially at a high temperature is firstly quenched to the critical temperature Tc and then released to an evolution with a model A dynamics. The asymptotic scaling laws and the initial slip exponents θ′ and θ for the or...

A stochastic one-dimensional cellular automaton with long range spatial interactions is introduced. In this model the probability state at time t of a given site depends on the state of all the other sites at time t − 1 through a power law of the type 1/r, r being the distance between sites. For α → ∞ this model reduces to the Domany-Kinzel cellular automaton. The dynamical phase diagram is ana...

Finite–size scaling properties and Casimir forces in an exactly solvable quantum statistical–mechanical model Abstract A d–dimensional finite quantum model system confined to a general hypercubical geometry with linear spatial size L and " temporal size " 1/T (T-temperature of the system) is considered in the spherical approximation under periodic boundary conditions. Because of its close relat...

We report evidence from the 3B Catalogue that short (T90 < 10 s) and long (T90 > 10 s) GRB represent different populations and processes: Their spectral behavior is qualitatively different, with short bursts harder in the BATSE range, but chiefly long bursts detected at higher photon energies; 〈V/Vmax〉 = 0.385 ± 0.019 for short GRB but 〈V/Vmax〉 = 0.282 ± 0.014 for long GRB, differing by 0.103 ±...
